Kiwa Comply™ was awarded Innovation of the Year at EuroSafety Fair

The EuroSafety Fair is the largest safety-focused event in the Nordic countries, held biennially at the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre. The event showcases new products and services in the industry, awarding the Innovation of the Year. This year, the jury selected the Kiwa Comply™ software as the winner.

The theme for this year’s EuroSafety Fair was the future of safety and responsibility. This theme encompasses areas like risk management, future safety technologies, and renewable materials.

A total of 79 products or services from the safety sector, launched in 2023 or 2024, participated in the innovation competition. The expert jury chose Kiwa Comply as the winner. It is software that helps build and maintain management systems.

The Foundation of Kiwa Comply was built in 2017

The idea and groundwork for the Kiwa Comply software was laid in 2017. At that time, Kiwa recognized the need to create a unified management model for comprehensive corporate safety management and leadership.

“With the management model, the various procedures of management system standards are gathered under one management and operational model. In the future, there will be no separate management forums, procedural models, or risk assessment practices for each safety aspect. By focusing on the essentials, the daily life of the management system becomes more efficient, resources are saved, and the future becomes clearer. The previous paragraph was our vision from 2017, and the idea has beautifully crystallized in Kiwa Comply,” says Mikko S. Törmänen, Business Director of Kiwa Finland. He continues:

“Our chief architects of the service, Jyrki Lahnalahti and Laura Lindholm, received valuable sparring from safety management oracles Dr. Veli-Pekka Nurmi, Matti Koskinen, Mats Fagerström, Rauno Hammarberg, Erkko Badermann, Ilona Sutela, and Mika Susi. Thanks to them all for their important work. The vision and passion of the key personnel are now ready and available to everyone.”
